Accord offers support and accommodation services.
One of the main services they offer is helping young people, aged between 16 and 25 to build on their strengths and talents, in order to lead successful, and independent lives.
They do this by providing young people with access to supported accomodation, and through their outreach service.
The Support Workers work alongside young people, and other agencies, in order to provide holistic, and person-centred support, in order to help them to acheive their goals.
Support offered focused on three key areas:
Accommodation
Accord provide information needed in order to successfully manage tenancy, and also provide safe accommodation with access to staff when it is needd. Outreach services are also available for those that don’t need accommodation.
Independence
Accord help with budgeting, paying bills and navigating the benefits and the housing system in order to ensure you have all of the knowledge you need for moving-on from their accomodation
Employment and Education
Accord provide support with education, training and work in order to help you get where you want in life.
The services are available to:
1. Children and young people in care services 16-18 years
2. Care leavers 18-21 years
3. Care leavers 21-25 years
4. Non-care leavers 16-25 years
Outreach services are available to young people once they move-on from supported accommodation, and is normally available for up to three months, but can be extended depending on needs identified.
