The Audiology service is based at West Park Hospital and provides a range of diagnostic hearing tests for Adults in Wolverhampton.Please note that this service focuses on complex hearing loss, and they are not commissioned to provide hearing aid services for non-complex age related hearing loss.Patients that have complex hearing loss, and require hearing aids, will be provided with them, in addition to on-going review and repair of these devices.
Other services provided include tinnitus, balance testing and rehabilitation, including relaxation therapy. The service also has a Bone Anchored Hearing Aid service providing assessment, fitting, review and repair of these devices.
A drop off service for faulty hearing aids also operates from the site, and these are normally dealt with within 48 hours.
The Audiology service also supports the ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) consultants, and also offers Balance testing at New Cross Hospital.
