Summer One Day Retreat: Yoga, Breath, Cacao, Sauna & Cold Plunge

A one day retreat to nourish the mind, body, and spirit, and reconnect with our sense of purpose and well-being.

A one day retreat can be a wonderful opportunity to take a break from the daily grind and focus on self-care and personal growth.

The Retreat will help you:

WHAT TO EXPECT

We’ll start our beautiful tranformative day at 10am, with an introduction to the day and answer any questions you may have. After creating our intentions for the day we’ll begin our cacao ceremony followed by yoga, breathwork and meditation. After a freshly prepared lunch, we’ll explore the benefits of heat and cold with a sauna and a cold plunge.

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY:

9:30-10:00am: Welcome and introduction to the retreat

10:00-11:00am: Cacao ceremony

11:00-1:00pm: Meditation, Yoga and Breathwork session

1:00pm- 2.00pm: Lunch break

2:00- 4:00pm: Sauna and Ice bath session

4:00-5:00pm: Closing circle and integration time

We will finish the ceremony with a closing circle where you have the opportunity to reflect and even share your experience with others.

What Do You Need To Bring?

Here are some things you should bring and how you can prepare for the one day retreat:

Bring comfortable clothing: Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothes that will allow for ease of movement during breathwork, yoga and meditation.

Bring swim-wear and a towel : Allthough the cold plunge is optional, we do recomennd bringing swim wear so you can enjoy the sauna.

Bring a water bottle: It’s important to stay hydrated throughout the day, so bring a refillable water bottle to keep yourself hydrated.

How Should You Prepare?

Prepare to be open-minded: This retreat is designed to challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and explore new ways of thinking and being. Come with an open mind and a willingness to learn and grow.

Prepare to let go: In order to fully embrace the transformative experience of the retreat, it’s important to let go of any expectations, judgments, or preconceptions you may have. Trust the process and surrender to the journey.

His teachings come from a unique blend of Soma, Wim Hof and Shamanic breathwork, offering a holistic approach to breathwork that addresses both the physical and spiritual aspects of the practice.

What Is?

Cacao ceremony: A cacao ceremony is a ritual that involves consuming cacao, a plant-based substance with potential heart-opening and mood-boosting properties. The ceremony will include guided meditation or intention setting to help participants connect with their hearts and set a positive focus for the day.

Meditation: The purpose of the meditation is to bring the mind to a state of calm and clarity, and to cultivate self-awareness.

Breathwork: The purpose of breathwork is to promote relaxation, increase oxygen flow to the body, and reduce stress.

Sauna: The heat and humidity can be beneficial for relaxation and detoxification.

Ice bath: It can be invigorating and energizing, and may have benefits for circulation, muscle recovery, and immune system function.

Participants are responsible for their own health and wellbeing during a breathwork session.

You must inform us BEFORE the session if you have any of these conditions:(Breathwork should not be undertaken without supervision or medical advice.)

It is not advised for people who have a history of cardiovascular disease, angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, aneurysms, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant recent physical injuries or surgery, severe mental illness or seizure disorders or for people on medications. It is also unsuitable for anyone with a personal or family history of aneurysms. Please consult with your healthcare practitioner before booking.

Pregnant people are advised against practicing Breathwork without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician.
