Autumn Equinox Yoga Day Retreat

Hosted by Emma Cartwright of Yoga Souls and Sarah Rumble of Blossom Wellbeing. Emma & Sarah are very excited to be working together to bring you this wonderful day. A true retreat from daily life and the perfect opportunity to mark the shift in the seasons and what that means for you.
Move and refresh your body with an Asana practice, be inspired with knowledge of Ayurvedic wisdom, experience the deep release and relaxation of yin yoga and let your spirit soar with guided chanting.
A delicious lunch will be provided (vegan/ vegetarian), along with teas throughout the day and an afternoon sweet treat.
This day is perfectly timed at the Autumn Equinox itself – a moment of balance and pause in the cosmic yearly cycle, a transitional moment where the energies of yin and yang are held in equilibrium. Emma & Sarah will take you through a whole range of yogic practices – most of which you don’t get to experience in general classes – leaving you feeling relaxed, refreshed, energized and inspired.
Traditionally, Autumn Equinox is the time to take stock as we look at our personal ‘harvest’ and contemplate how successful the year has been. What do we wish to plant more of, what will we do differently in the future? What are the lessons we have learned?
As the days begin to shorten and the nights to lengthen, so too, shall we begin to slow down and turn our attention inwards.
This day gives you the opportunity to properly re-connect with your true self in body, mind and spirit.
