About Us

“We are passionate about helping wellbeing services demonstrate their impact and perform at their best”

There are many services that improve health, wellbeing, and quality of life.  However, we believe that neither the true extent of these, nor the impact of them is fully understood

We want community health assets to be mapped, with their strengths and contributions understood, and we want to see organisations flourish and be recognised

This will result in a better integrated health system, which is focused on prevention.  In turn, we believe this can reduce pressure on NHS services and lead to a healthier nation

Our Mission

“To help services develop, improve, and demonstrate their impact through providing valuable insights”

Importance of Research in Wellbeing Services

Demonstrating impact and improving service provision is crucial for health and wellbeing services across all sectors.  This is particularly important at this time, when a whole-system and asset-based approach to healthcare is considered key to moving forward in a more preventative and strength-based direction

Currently, only 20% of health outcomes are determined by clinical factors.  The other 80% are made up of wider determinants of health, and this is increasing pressure on NHS services

Therefore, we need to take a wider view of the full range of health assets and preventative services available. This will allow for a more sustainable model of healthcare, that can better tackle health inequalities and help prevent long-term health conditions
