SUMMARY:Manifest your Desires - Gong Bath and Meditation- Barton under Needwood
DESCRIPTION:Manifest your dreams\, desires and goals as we set a powerful intention together on this evening!\n\n\nPlease note\, gong baths arent suitable for people who are pregnant\, people with tinnitus or a fitted pace maker* \nAbout this event \nWelcome to the wonderful world of sound. \nDuring this particular gong bath\, we encourage you to attend with an open mind and an open heart. Our dreams can become a reality\, if we believe they can. During this gong bath we will focus on what our desires are and have some fun during our meditation\, visualising our dreams. Meditation is an excellent way to get in tune with our minds and focus on what we want out of this beautiful life we have been blessed with. \nLet the sound penetrate your mind body and soul to help remove stagnant energy and leave the stresses of everyday life behind you. \nYou can expect a deeply relaxing space which helps combat stress and anxiety\, quieting the mind\, leaving you feeling stress free and calm. It is reported that 30 minutes in a gong bath is equivalent to 4 hours sleep! It boosts the immune system and aids circulation. \nEvery Gong Bath is a very personal experience\, depending on where you are on your journey through life. Ancient Sounds may be your first or 101st experience of sound therapy but you will be warmly welcomed and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. \nDuring the gong bath the brain naturally goes into theta & alpha brain waves\, which helps to promote a state of deep relaxation\, clarity & meditation. Some people relax completely so that they fall asleep – if this happens your subconscious state of mind will continue with the relaxation process. \nAbout Andrew \nAncient Sounds manifested itself through Andrew’s love of all things spiritual and holistic. Over a 25 year spiritual awakening Andrew has built up an excellent reputation of crystal therapy\, Reiki healing (he is a Reiki master)\, leading courses on psychic development\, crystal therapy and drumming circles. \nIn 2019 Andrew created his first sound therapy CD ‘Calling The Ancients’\, using an array of quartz singing bowls. This has now led to the development of a unique sound bath using gongs\, singing bowls and other instruments. \nPlease be aware that manifestation is something that only the person can do for themselves. This gong bath is to get you in a calm\, relaxed state of mind so that you can really think about your manifestations and what you need to do to make them a reality. \nWhat to Bring with You? \nA yoga mat (optional) we provide yoga mats to lie on but feel free to bring your own. \nPillows/cushions – we do have a few cushions however we recommend bringing your own and however many you like to be as comfy as possible. \nBlanket – again we do have blankets but we recommend bringing your own\, some people even bring a duvet! \nEye mask- on the lighter evenings you may want to bring an eye mask or eye pillow with you to block out the evening sunlight \nBottle of water \nWear comfy clothes\, layers\, warm socks- we recommend wearing whatever you feel comfortable in. As you will be lying down for 45 mins – 1 hour you may get a little cold during the colder months so wrap up warm \n \nWhat to do at the session? \nAndrew will greet you at the door\, then you will be taken upstairs to the middle floor where you will take your shoes off and leave any bags. You will then be taken upstairs where you can choose your yoga mat and your space. \nAndrew will then explain a little about gongs and what he will be doing during your sound bath. \nThen lie back\, get comfy and let the sounds of the gongs take you into deep relaxing state! \nCheck out Cheryl’s blog on her experience at one of our gong baths! \nhttps://www.mossandmoon.co.uk/post/my-first-gong-bath?fbclid=IwAR1rVO5ul50MmIrip2HsxSfTRtwCgi0ME8S79ZQyPQlFN08H1TiH7P7t0ro \nFAQ \nQ: How long is the gong bath session? \n \nA: Usually 45 – minutes \n \nQ: Do I need any special clothing? \n \nA: No\, just warm and comfortable\, loose clothing. We recommend to remove outdoor shoes so feel free to bring thick socks or even slippers with you. \n \nQ: Would you not recommend a gong bath for anyone? \n \nA: Gong baths aren’t suitable for anyone with a pacemaker fitted. \nQ: I’m new to sound baths! Does that matter? \n \nA: No! Not at all – sound baths are a very good way of introduction to meditation as all you have to do is sit or lie down and let the sound wash over you. \n \nQ: What benefits may I experience? \n \nA: A sound bath is beneficial for stress\, anxiety\, chronic pain\, to gain peace of mind and many other situations. \n \nQ: What is sound therapy ? \n \nA: Sound therapy is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to bring a state of peace and calm.
